• Library

Our Library is a place of good conversation and connections for family roots and heritage. Structuring your search is invaluable for both those stumped and those beginning to find their Irish Roots.

Occasional Weekend Seminars and guest speakers pave the path to the wealth of information now available to the novice and researchers alike.

Genealogy advice and resources are available by appointment on Friday evenings 7-9 pm. To schedule an appointment, please email roots@irishculture.org.

Genealogy Classes at the ICC Library

The library is hosting four beginning genealogy classes, limited to 6 attendees.

Each class must be registered for individually, with the class interest in the subject line or the body of the message.

The classes will start at 2pm and go for 45 minutes and classes 2-4 will have computer time at the end of the class.

2/7/10 Getting Started & Organized

3/7/10 Vital Records

4/11/10 U.S. Census

5/2/10 Naturalization

Registration for the classes MUST be on a first response basis, and anyone interested must register with the library thru ROOTS@IRISHCULTURE.ORG and if they will receive a confirmation of their place in class. If response is overwhelming, we may also host repeat classes on Friday nights (to be determined).
