2010 Fall Term

Class: Irish Baking

Dates: Monday September 27, Monday October 25 and November 29.

Fee: $25 ICC Members* $30 non-members per class
*dues must be paid up to date

Ages: Adults (16 and up)

Instructor: Amanda Brawley born and raised in Dublin, Ireland and taught by her Irish grandmother, she has brought her authentic Irish recipes to share with us. Amanda is a baker by profession and owns her own shop Erin Go Bread.

Description & Times:

Class I: 8-9:30 PM Monday September 27
Learn to bake Irish Brown Bread! Amanda will teach you the old art of baking this staple of Irish cuisine and take what you bake home with you!

Class II: 8-9:30PM Monday October 25
Learn to bake Irish Scones; Amanda has many old recipes up her sleeve. Enjoy tea and scones after the class.

Class III: 8-9:30PM Monday November 29
Learn to make Irish Guinness Stew. Amanda will show you how to make this tasty Irish stew that is perfect for the winter months.

Requirements: Bowl, Apron, Can of Guinness for Class III. Amanda may request additional items, she will let us know.
