Tin Whistle

Class: Tin Whistle

Dates: Begins Wednesday September 29th, 2010 for 10 weeks.

Fee: $175 for ICC Members* $200 for non-members
*dues must be paid up to date

Ages: Adults (16 and up)

Instructor: Andrea Mori. One of our most seasoned instructors, Andrea has years of experience teaching Tin Whistle.

Description & Times:

There are three class levels:

6-7 PM Adult Beginner II

For whistle players with some basic knowledge who are able to play a few tunes at a slow tempo.

7-8 PM Advanced Beginner

For whistle players with some experience. Class will cover ornamentation, breathing, and style.

8-9 PM Intermediate/Advanced

For whistle players who can play tunes in a variety of Rhythms at a reasonable tempo. A chance for players to be challenged by new tunes and techniques.

Requirements: Tin whistle in the key of D and a recording device. (D whistles can be purchased for $10 at the first class).
