Irish Baking & Cooking workshop

Taught by Chef Seamus Healy

 

Seamus Healy, a native of Co. Sligo, Ireland is a graduate of Maynooth College, Ireland.  Seamus also completed his culinary degree in Zurich, Switzerland before coming to the United States where he worked as the Executive Chef of the Algonquin Club for 25 Years.  Currently, Seamus is the Executive Chef at the Judge Baker Children's Center in Boston, MA

  

Dates: Mondays: March 26th, April 30th & May 21st 2012

Time: 7-8:30pm

Fee: $25 ICC Members* $30 non-members per workshop. $65 ICC Member/$80 Non-Member for all 3 workshops. 

Registration required in advance.

Ages: Adults (16 and up)

Description & Times: 

Class I: Shepherd's Pie - 7-8:30 PM Monday, March 26th                                                                                                                                                                                   Learn how to make one of Ireland's traditional meals.
Class II: Irish Scones - 7-8:30PM Monday, April 30th. Please bring a bowl, spoon and dish towel. 

Back by popular demand!! Learn to bake Irish Scones; Seamus has many old recipes up his sleeve. Enjoy tea and scones after the class.   

Class III: Irish Salmon Dish and potato soup - 7-8:30PM Monday, May 21st

Learn to make an entire Irish meal from start to finish.  This is the perfect spring time dish.  To start Seamus will show us how to make potato soup and then the main dish Irish Salmon. 


 

Requirements: Bowl & Apron. Seamus may request additional items as needed.
