Join us as we are an inclusive and collaborative group working to serve as a focal point for the expression of Irish culture through a variety of activities, events, and programs. We offer our facilities for rental and functions outside of our Irish cultural programs and events.  If you are interested in joining our full time or part time staff, we have the following immediate openings:

  • Line Cook
  • Bartenders

Line Cook

We are looking for an experienced line cook who also has catering experience. We need a strong cook to work with our kitchen team for our weekly dinner service as well as prepare food for private function and large-scale events. 

Responsibilities 

 Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies

 Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces) 

o Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff 

o Answer, report and follow all operational instructions 

o Clean up station and take care of leftover food 

o Stock inventory appropriately 

o Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion 

o Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards 

o Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers 

Skills 

o Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line chef, restaurant cook or prep cook 

o Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures 

o Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks 

o Familiar with industry’s best practices 

Requirements and skills 

o Proven work experience as a line cook 

o Hands-on experience with planning menus and ordering ingredients 

o Knowledge of a wide range of recipes 

o Familiarity with kitchen sanitation and safety regulations 

o Excellent organizational skills 

o Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment 

o Flexibility to work during evenings and weekends 

o ServSafe Certified Required 

o Allergen Certified Required 

o Weekends / Nights are Required 

Servers/Bartenders/Function Staff

These positions are responsible for providing first-class service to our members and guests in both our a la carte and banquet settings. In a warm and friendly manner, the right individual will greet the members and guests to enjoy a memorable experience at the ICC. As appropriate, they will engage in warm and friendly conversation with the members whether at initial seating or following. Experience in the hospitality industry is highly encouraged but willing to train the right individual.

Responsibilities

The Server will serve and bus tables as well as clear and tear down banquet rooms at the end of the function.

The Banquet Bartender will set up the bar and prepare banquet room for banquet functions as well as clear and tear down banquet rooms at the end of the function.

These positions require nights and weekends to assist in the Pub or scheduled events. For more information or interest please email Amy Flynn
