Irish Traditional Music Sessions at the Irish Cultural Centre

The Irish Cultural Centre has been the home of traditional Irish Music in Greater Boston for many years, with various weekly and monthly traditional Irish music sessions taking place in our pub, tent, patio and cottage year round.
Friday Nights
Friday nights from about 6pm we have an open Irish music session which is hosted by our ‘Friday night session group’. This group of about 25 musicians have been coming together to play at the Irish Cultural Centre for a number of years. They love to move around with the seasons and depending on when you come, you’ll find them playing in the Adare room, the Marquee Tent, our Outdoor Patio and sometimes inside in the Irish pub.
Saturday Nights
Saturday nights are hosted by Joey Abarta and friends! Since the reopening of our Irish pub following a renovation in early 2022, some of Boston’s best Irish music’s been played on site every single Saturday from 5-8pm. Joey is an uillean piper who lives locally and some of his guest musicians include Nathan Gourley, David McKinley Ward, Colm Gannon just to mention a few!
